Cubic Zirconia Jewellery

What is Cubic Zirconia

Cubic zirconia was first discovered in Russia in 1892 by Vaino Väisälä and named after its crystal structure: "cubic." It wasn't until 1978 that synthetic cubic zirconia was created and used in jewellery manufacturing. Since then, cubic zirconia has become one of the world's most popular diamond alternatives because of its high refractive index (fire) and low cost compared to real diamonds.

Cubic zirconia is a popular diamond alternative. It has many of the same qualities as diamonds, but it's much less expensive. Cubic zirconia is a crystalline form of zirconium dioxide, which is a naturally occurring mineral that can be found in most parts of the world. It's usually colourless or white, but it can also be created as a variety of colours by adding other elements during the manufacturing process.

Cubic zirconia jewellery can be made into anything from earrings to rings to necklaces to pendants.

Here's some advantages of cubic zirconia:
1. It's affordable.
Cubic zirconia is the next best thing to diamonds, and it's way more affordable—so you can get your bling on without breaking the bank!

2. It sparkles like crazy.
This gemstone has a super high refractive index, making it super sparkly and bright. That means that no matter what kind of lighting you're in, cubic zirconia is going to look great.

3. It's durable.
While cubic zirconia isn't as hard as diamond (8 out of 10 on Mohs scale), it is still very durable and can withstand normal wear and tear without chipping or cracking easily.
